Rowing for Veterans
Atlanta Rowing Club partners with BlazeSports America to provide rowing opportunities for veterans at our boathouse located at 500 Azalea Drive, Roswell, GA. Veterans participate in three practices a week. Rowing activities are on the Chattahoochee River. Through our partnership with the Atlanta VA Medical Center Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center, veterans are introduced to rowing through classes hosted every third Friday of the month. Since 2018, BlazeSports and Atlanta Rowing Club have served over 100 veterans. Donations contributed to this fundraiser will help support this important work.
